アジア都市研究会（Asian Urban Research Group (AURG) ；アドバイザー：萩島哲（九大名誉教授），チェアマン：大貝彰，後援団体：日本都市計画学会九州支部）では，1998年より2年1回アジアの主要都市で「都市計画と環境管理に関する国際シンポジウム（International Symposium on City Planning and Environmental Management in Asian Countries）」を開催しています。次回，第9回目のシンポを2014年1月11−13日で大分市で開催します。
本国際シンポ論文は2段階のピュアレビュープロセスをとっております。まずはアブストラクトの募集を

9th International Symposium on
City Planning and Environmental Management in Asian Countries,
Horuto Hall OITA, Oita city, Japan,
11-13 January, 2014
The 9th International Symposium on City Planning and Environmental Management in Asian Countries will be held in Horuto Hall OITA, Oita city, Japan, 11-13 January, 2014. This symposium is organized by Asian Urban Research Group (AURG) with co-organizer, Department of Architectural Engineering, Oita University, Japan and others. The aim is to provide a communication platform for researchers who are concerned with city planning and environmental management in Asian countries.
Topics:
The following topics are welcome, but not limited to:
Urban Analysis;
Urban/Regional Structure or Compact City;
Urban/Regional Sustainability;
Sustainable development:
Sustainable planning and design;
Urban Space and Activities;
Residential Environment;
Environmental Management;
Landscape Analysis and Design;
Urban Disaster/Safety;
Urban modelling and simulation;
Important Dates:
Deadline for abstract submission is 10 May, 2013
Notification for the acceptance of abstract: 15 June, 2013
Deadline for full paper: 15 September, 2013
